Our founder, Travis Randolph, began his career with Herman Miller®. He was on the team who launched the original modular system for healthcare. His ideas translate into ergonomic products for laboratories and technical environments. As part of our legacy, Symbiote furniture integrates with Herman Miller® Co/Struc® and Action Office® systems today.
Symbiote was founded in Holland, Michigan and expanded to Zeeland, Michigan. Our West Michigan location is ideally situated in the heart of many furniture manufacturers and tooling companies. This gives us easy access to specialty vendors and shared resources who maintain the same high standards we have. When you shop for lab furniture consider where it's made and how long it will last. Calculate the cost to replace lower quality products and the impact on research and production schedules. Who has time for that?
Few furniture companies offer custom product development that includes ideation, design and tooling. It's one of the reasons Symbiote was founded and a big part of who we are today. Here's a video of an early project with Boeing, the world's leader in commercial aviation, who we continue to support.
We bring experience and engineering to the table, creating innovative furniture that works.
